Open Concepts is a live performance series bringing together Toronto's artists, creatives and music lovers for an evening of live entertainment, good food and conversation.
For the first time, we're bringing Open Concepts to Cassette, creating a more intimate experience where you can enjoy dinner, discover new artists and connect with the city's creative community.
Expect a curated lineup of live music, spoken word, comedy and more.
Note: Performing artists also have the opportunity to receive professional photo and video coverage, with select performances featured across our social channels.

Santi Forget & Den Sessions: Live at Cassette
Santi Forget is a Canadian and Peruvian artist known for her smooth 90’s style vocals. Her approach to song writing and singing combines Spanish and English into Indie pop, Neo Soul, Alternative and R&B genres. Santi’s first project “Dear New Love” received much love in her home city Toronto bringing her to perform live in the Soho House, Kellogg’s Factory, Sneaky Dee’s and The Drake Underground. Her recent EP, Raquel, marks a new creative direction, embracing live instrumentation and collaborations with local musicians - an artistic path she plans to continue exploring.

Open Ended: A Storytelling Night
OPEN ENDED is a live storytelling night about the moments in life that never wrapped up neatly.
Writers and first-time storytellers are invited to take the stage to share real or imagined stories without closure — the job interview that went silent, the summer romance that vanished, the friendship that ended without explanation. The moments that linger.
Each storyteller has 10–12 minutes to pull us into their world… & leave us hanging. Then the night opens up.
In the second half of the evening, the audience becomes part of the story. Guests are invited to step up to the mic and freestyle an ending to a story they heard — what could have happened, what should have happened, or what still might.
